BOXING CHAMPION BECOMES GGY COLLECTIONS BRAND AMBASSADOR

15 years old, 14-time National Boxing Champion, Joseph “Jojo” Awinongya Jr. also known as “Jojo the Boxer” becomes GGY Collections Brand Ambassador in Men’s Athleisure, styling and will collaborate on more fashion projects yet to come. Joseph Awinongya Jr. is an American young boxer who has been ranked number one multiple times and known as one of the best amature boxers in the United States of America. He is projected to become a world boxing champion by the age of eighteen. Born to Ghanaian parents, Jo Jo has become a great young athlete since age five under the wings of his boxing trainer and father, Joseph Awinongya Sr. nicknamed “African Assassin” who is a professional boxing trainer and former professional cruiserweight boxer. Jo Jo not only focuses on being an athlete but also works hard in academics. At only 14 years old, he started pursuing college to become a nurse as another way to serve his community. 

      GGY Collections advocates for health and fitness lifestyles hence joining hands with Jojo the Boxer to support and inspire other athletes through high fashion. As the saying goes, “when you look good, you feel good” and ready to achieve your highest dreams. GGY Collections had the pleasure of designing and creating an exclusive custom made black and white, three-piece hoodie pant set with impeccable details from exceptionally high quality fabric to compliment Jo Jo’s outstanding athleticism. As incredible of a boxer that Jo Jo is, fashion is a component that compliments his undeniable gift of boxing as well as his everyday lifestyle. On the projects to come, GGY Collections and Jojo the Boxer will design boxing apparel among other things.

ABOUT JOJO AWINONGYA Jnr.

Joseph Awinongya Jr started boxing at the age of 5 and won 14 Nation championships with the help of his mom Valerie and dad, a former Don King professional boxer, and sister Naomi. The Story of Jojo the Boxer, shows a future where youth shine bright even under terrible conditions. In this movie, people will see a different side of Jojo than they did before.
